International Engagement Strategist Job DescriptionJob Purpose

This role exists to shape international policy, foster global partnerships, and enhance India's trade and investment opportunities in alignment with national economic priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement organisation's international strategy to enhance India's global economic influence.
  • Build and sustain relationships with foreign governments, multilateral organizations, and global chambers to advance trade and investment opportunities.
  • Drive programs for market access, investment facilitation, and international business cooperation to deliver tangible outcomes for Indian industry.
  • Ensure global engagements reinforce India's domestic economic and policy objectives to align with national priorities.
About the Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a visionary leader with deep knowledge of international trade and diplomacy. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Master's degree in international relations, Public Policy, Economics, Business Administration, or related field. PhD or equivalent international policy exposure is preferred.
  • Total of 25-30 years of progressive leadership experience in trade, diplomacy, global economic policy, or senior roles in government/industry bodies with extensive international exposure.

  • Strong policy and advocacy background
  • Broad knowledge of global economic issues
