Key Responsibilities of Cloud Development Engineer:

  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure across Azure, AWS, and GCP environments.
  • Architect, deploy and optimize Azure-based solutions including compute, storage, networking, and security services.
  • Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives with an emphasis on Azure technologies.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using modern DevOps practices.
  • Implement and manage containerized workloads using AKS and EKS.
  • Establish and enforce cloud security standards and best practices across environments.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for automated deployments.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Optimize cloud resource usage and implement cost management strategies.

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in cloud engineering/architecture roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure, plus working knowledge of AWS and GCP platforms.
  • Proficiency with Kubernetes orchestration, particularly AKS, with knowledge of EKS.
  • Experience with Karpenter, ArgoCD, and Istio in container environments.
  • Demonstrated expertise in cloud security principles and implementations.
  • Advanced knowledge of cloud networking concepts and solutions.
  • Proficiency with GitHub and GitHub Actions for CI/CD workflows.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools (particularly Terraform, Azure ARM templates, and AWS CloudFormations).
  • Self-driven work ethic with ability to manage complex projects independently.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
