Job Summary:

  • A Cloud Computing Specialist designs, manages, and supports cloud-based infrastructure and applications.
  • They help organizations migrate to the cloud, ensure scalability, security, and reliability, and optimize cloud resources for cost and performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy cloud solutions using platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure, including storage, networking, and virtualization.
  • Migrate applications and data from on-premises systems to the cloud.
  • Monitor cloud performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize resource usage.
  • Implement security policies, backup strategies, and disaster recovery plans.
  • Collaborate with development, DevOps, and IT teams to integrate cloud services.
  • Stay updated on cloud computing trends and emerging technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Strong knowledge of networking, virtualization, and cloud security.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform).
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
  • Cloud certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, etc.) preferred.
