Software Engineer - Networking Testing

We are seeking a skilled software engineer to join our team of talented industry specialists. The ideal candidate will possess leadership skills and be passionate about improving the performance of key applications and benchmarks.

You will be responsible for building the product quality verification portfolio for network infrastructure accelerators. This role involves contributing to the day-to-day activities of the System Test in an Agile environment, writing test plans, reviewing scripts, and collaborating with peer teams.

  • Develop high-quality automated test scripts that are maintainable and effective.
  • Review and triage test failures to ensure timely resolution.
  • Stay informed of software and hardware trends, especially pertaining to networking and accelerators.
  • Collaborate with peers to resolve complex technical issues.

This position requires 5+ years of experience in Networking Testing and Automation roles. Proficiency in Python scripting is essential, along with knowledge of various test tools and performance testing tools like Ixia. Experience in Cloud, Security, Data Center technologies is an added advantage.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge of operating systems.
  • Ability to write high-quality automation code with attention to detail.
  • Experience in administration of Linux, VMware ESX, and Windows Server.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
