Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional software development engineer to drive innovation and excellence in AI acceleration. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the development of cutting-edge ML tools and methodologies, pushing the boundaries of full system performance for AI workloads on advanced processors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement efficient code-generation techniques using MLIR/LLVM to optimize AMD's Machine Learning products.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by researching and implementing methods to improve solution performance.
  • Monitor industry trends and innovations, particularly in ML algorithms and architectures.
  • Collaborate with peers and partners to drive technical advancements.
  • Work closely with architecture specialists to enhance future product capabilities.
  • Develop and optimize high-quality code for VLIW processors.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Strong object-oriented programming background, C/C++ and/or Python, with 3+ years of industry experience.
  • Prior experience in Graph compilers and optimizations.
  • Detailed understanding of performance implications on AI acceleration of different compute, memory, and communication configurations and hardware and software.
  • Familiarity with AI frameworks like ONNX, PyTorch, TVM, TensorFlow.
  • Knowledge of compiler technologies like MLIR/LLVM.
  • Ability to write high-quality code with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with implementation of key ML operations like GEMM, CONV.
  • Experience with software development processes and tools such as debuggers, source code control systems (GitHub) and profilers.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering.
