Senior Associate Credit Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Associate Credit to enhance our credit and deal execution capabilities. The ideal candidate will have 7-8 years of relevant credit experience and collaborate closely with the US lending team to support underwriting, credit analysis, and transaction execution.

The Senior Associate Credit will be responsible for drafting clear and accurate credit memos for transactions, preparing and reviewing loan term sheets, conducting financial and credit analysis to inform underwriting decisions, identifying and assessing risks, and providing recommendations to mitigate them. They will also work collaboratively with the US lending team to ensure timely and efficient deal execution.

To succeed in this role, the candidate will need to maintain high attention to detail while working across multiple transactions simultaneously. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with a solid foundation in credit fundamentals, excellent writing skills, and the ability to prepare professional reports and memos are essential.

The ideal candidate will have 3–7 years of credit analysis/underwriting experience with financial institutions, lenders, or investment managers, preferably with prior experience in investor relations. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools is required, as well as exposure to real estate debt and good financial modeling skills.

Requirements

  • 3–7 years of credit analysis/underwriting experience with financial institutions, lenders, or investment managers.
  • Prior experience in investor relations is preferred.
