Senior Software Quality Assurance Leader

As a key member of our software engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the entirety of software quality assurance efforts.

You will oversee a team of skilled engineers who are tasked with developing and maintaining top-quality software solutions.

The Senior Software Quality Assurance Leader will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring all stages of the software development process, identifying and resolving defects to meet quality standards, communicating quality standards to relevant parties.
  • Assisting in designing, conducting and executing tests prior to launch/implementation to ensure software runs smoothly and meets requirements while being cost effective; identifying opportunities to improve test cycles and lower testing costs.
  • Collaborating with software, network, systems and infrastructure engineers to encourage an automated pipeline for software development; developing processes and protocols that ensure quality during all stages of development.

This role requires strong leadership skills, as well as hands-on experience with end-to-end software development of complex multi-tiered systems. Experience managing sensitive financial data is also a plus.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- 5+ years of working experience in QA engineering or related fields;

- Experience managing engineers and/or technical personnel;

- Hands-on experience with end-to-end software development of complex multi-tiered systems;

- Strong troubleshooting, debugging and analysis skills;

- Understanding of multiple programming languages, including at least one front end framework (Angular/React/Vue), such as Python3, Java, JavaScript, Ruby, Golang, C, C++, etc.;

- Experience with UNIX or Linux and Windows operating systems;

- Comfortable using standard UNIX utilities to do testing and identify issues.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

- Experience managing sensitive financial data;

- 5+ years of working experience with Test Automation, setting up Test automation frameworks, writing test automation scripts that can be integrated and executed in a CICD pipeline;

- Experience with automation technologies, tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cucumber, Test Complete, EggPlant, Appium, Perfecto, ReadyAPI, etc.
