About the Role

The Programme Development Lead will play a pivotal role in developing and incubating new programmes related to women empowerment through leadership and entrepreneurship initiatives.

  • Create and nurture new women empowerment initiatives that drive socio-economic transformation through awareness creation and ecosystem knowledge platforms.
  • Develop and expand existing women leadership and entrepreneurship programmes by collaborating with technical partners.
  • Craft and scale new programmes to make development sector leadership in India more inclusive through targeted capacity-building initiatives.
Main Responsibilities and Deliverables (Key Performance Indicators)
  • Ensure existing programmes are gender-inclusive where necessary.
  • Collaborate with the Monitoring and Evaluation team to ensure disaggregated data and gender mainstreaming across all reporting.
  • Partner with the research team on publications to share best practice and with the communications team to develop a compelling narrative across all women empowerment programmes.
Requirements
  • A postgraduate degree in a field related to the development sector.
  • A minimum of 10-12 years of experience in building and running leadership and/or entrepreneurship capacity-building projects.
  • Proven experience in implementing large-scale development projects.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.

Bonus points for experience in commissioning projects from third parties, being a self-starter who takes ownership and responsibility for projects, and possessing excellent communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
