ERP Performance Engineer

This is a challenging role that requires expertise in performance testing of ERP systems, specifically Oracle or Siebel.

  • Mandatory : Oracle ERP GL Module with Load runner experience, test planning, test strategy, reports

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating performance test plans, scenarios, scripts, execution, results analysis and providing insight into potential performance issues and deliverables related to performance testing activities.

They will also provide updates on testing progress, lead a team of engineers to clearly define test plans, tasks, schedule, and execution of performance testing activities, and identify - performance issues prior to reaching production.

The successful candidate will partner with development teams to understand application changes and potential performance concerns and issues when creating test scenarios.

They will communicate and help remediate performance issues observed during testing.

Additionally, they will work with other members in the IT organization to understand and achieve objectives.

Key responsibilities include integrating performance tests in CI/CD pipeline and establishing a continuous build and test cycle, developing high-quality performance test engineering principles, strategies, and best practices, and providing input and direction on continuous process improvements to mitigate risk and enhance performance engineering processes and standards.

Qualifications include 5-7 years of performance engineering experience required, hands-on experience with performance testing tools, hand-on ERP application performance testing experience on ERP applications, strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, ability to interpret test results and identify potential performance issues, architectural background focused on mid-tier services, client front ends, and databases, and proficient in understanding testing activities and approaches in different development methodologies (Agile, Iterative and Waterfall).
