Hotel Asset Manager Role

This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the financial and operational performance of hotel and restaurant assets.

  • Key responsibilities include:
  • Monitoring and driving the financial and operational performance of all hotel and restaurant assets;
  • Leading the budget finalization process with operating partners;
  • Conducting periodical performance reviews versus budgets; analyzing deviations and implementing course correction;
  • Analyzing RevPAR, GOP, ADR, occupancy, and EBITDA trends; optimizing ROI;
  • Benchmarking with industry data and STR reports to ensure competitiveness;
  • Managing leasing, tenant relationships, and yield enhancement at Technopolis IT Park and future commercial developments;
  • Overseeing CAM, tenant compliance, facilities, and lifecycle maintenance;
  • Structuring monetization strategies through leasing, JV, REIT, or selective exits;
  • Driving the development of MPG's land banks in key markets;
  • Floating and managing RFPs for architects, contractors, and brand/operator tie-ups;
  • Evaluating feasibility, design concepts, and financial models for new hotels, resorts, and mixed-use developments;
  • Ensuring statutory approvals and timely execution;
  • Identifying and evaluating suitable hotel brands across segments;
  • Negotiating management agreements and commercial terms;
  • Governing operator relationships to ensure compliance with MPG's financial and brand objectives;
  • Maintaining MIS, dashboards, and board presentations on asset performance;
  • Supporting the MD in preparing investment strategy papers, pitch decks, and deal structuring;
  • Tracking hospitality and real estate trends for informed decision making.

Requirements for this role are:

  • 8–15 years of relevant experience in hotel asset management, real estate development, or investment advisory;
  • Experience working with top-tier hotel brands/operators;
  • Strong knowledge of hotel P&L, lease structuring, CapEx ROI, and development cycles;
  • Exposure to heritage restoration, commercial leasing, and hospitality contracting.
