Job Title

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include the creation, deployment, maintenance and troubleshooting of enterprise automation solutions. The ideal candidate will apply technology-specific best practices standards, work with the team to evaluate new technologies and applications for future use, and coordinate with multiple geographically dispersed groups across the company to implement solutions.

This role requires a strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile delivery mode. The successful candidate will work on day-to-day coding and testing tasks in the delivery cycle, collaborate with business analysts on software design and implementation, and support production releases and maintenance windows working with the operations team.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, along with 3+ years of related experience, with 2+ years in the financial sector. Experience in the Microsoft suite of products, particularly MS-Access, SQL Server and Visual Basic, is essential. You should also have experience in database systems and Appian as a low-code no-code solution, as well as scripting languages such as Python, Shell/Batch programming and experience in application of agile development methodology.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary, as well as good interpersonal skills with experience working in distributed teams. Ability to innovate and think creatively when needed is also highly desirable. Additional experience in an offshore delivery team is a plus.
