Project Manager Job Description

This role involves overseeing the delivery of SAP S/4HANA initiatives within a pharmaceutical environment. Ensuring alignment with business processes, compliance requirements, and strategic transformation goals is crucial.

The ideal candidate will lead and manage SAP S/4HANA projects from initiation through to delivery, focusing on upgrades, integrations, and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the entire project lifecycle, including capturing requirements, aligning solutions with business needs, and managing expectations.
  • Coordinate system testing, pre-go-live readiness, cutover, and post-go-live support to ensure successful delivery with minimal disruption.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies, driving adoption of resolutions across business and IT teams.
  • Oversee process mapping, documentation, and compliance management in line with pharmaceutical standards.
  • Support integration efforts with third-party systems and interface solutions.
  • Provide training and knowledge transfer to cross-functional business and technical teams.
Required Skills & Experience:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in the pharmaceutical or life sciences sector, with strong awareness of regulated environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, commercial business flows, and integration projects.
  • Familiarity with RISE with SAP migrations and upgrades.
  • Experience managing third-party integration projects and interface solutions.
  • Strong background in process mapping, documentation management, and change management.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to deliver training and support knowledge adoption across business and technical teams.
