Job Title: Global Trade Specialist

 

The Global Trade Specialist is responsible for managing and updating export files and Bill of Lading details across India. This role requires excellent analytical and reporting skills, with a strong focus on maintaining accurate records and adhering to deadlines.

 

The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree and be well-versed in MS Office Tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently and make timely decisions.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update export files and Bill of Lading details across India.
  • Update remarks received from Intermodal Team regarding import and export cleanup files.
  • Handle export invoice RFIs within established turnaround times.
  • Respond to queries from vendors, GBS team, and customers in a timely manner.
  • Generate SDP and SDD codes within turnaround times.
  • Follow up with vendors and GBS team for outstanding bill payments.
  • Daily coordinate with Mumbai Intermodal Team for freight order generation and COL updates on LARA and LISA systems.
  • Prepare reports on intermodal moves daily, weekly, and monthly.
  • Address and resolve service-related issues or escalations promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports within deadlines.
  • Communicate promptly through messages.
