Job Title: Accounting and Taxation Expert

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Accounting and Taxation Expert. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our financial records, while also providing expert advice on taxation matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and prepare accurate financial statements, including Balance Sheets, Profit and Loss Statements, and Cash Flow Statements;
  • Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS returns and other statutory compliances;
  • Conduct internal and statutory audits to ensure adherence to financial regulations;
  • Provide expert advice on taxation matters, including optimizing tax strategies and adapting to frequent regulatory changes;
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely books closure;
  • Review Trial Balance and General Ledger on regular basis;
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • 8-10 years of experience in taxation and accounting roles, preferably in FMCG sector;
  • Proficiency in Accounting Software;
  • Strong understanding of GST, TDS and Income Tax laws;
  • Accuracy in maintaining records and preparing reports;
  • Capability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
  • Understanding the high-volume and fast-paced nature of FMCG accounting processes;
  • Multitasking to handle various responsibilities simultaneously;
