Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance Lead to spearhead our quality assurance initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software testing and automation, with experience leading teams of QA engineers.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive software testing strategies and plans.
  • Mentor and train junior QA engineers, fostering their growth and development.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software issues.
  • Design and maintain automated test suites and scripts, ensuring seamless integration with our technology stack.
  • Analyze and report on software performance and reliability, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Participate in Agile practices, prioritizing efficiency and effectiveness throughout the software development lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 4 to 5 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing, with a proven track record of leadership.
  • Experience leading teams of QA engineers, with a focus on mentoring and team development.
  • In-depth knowledge of test methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases, and debugging, with expertise in automated testing tools such as Selenium and RestAssured.
  • Hands-on experience working with REST APIs, with a strong understanding of API design principles and testing strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of test management tools like Jira or equivalent, with experience in tracking and managing software defects.
  • Experience with Agile practices, prioritizing adaptability and flexibility in fast-paced software development environments.
