Golf Content Editor Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Golf Content Editor to join our editorial team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about Golf and has a keen eye for detail.

The successful candidate will be responsible for editing and publishing articles related to Golf, as well as mentoring and guiding writers to refine their quality and output.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a good understanding of the fundamentals of the English language and be accustomed to American culture. You should also be quick with fact-checking and enhancing the editorial quality of content.

Responsibilities:

• Editing and publishing 20-25 articles daily.\
• Proofreading articles to ensure no avoidable errors - grammatical or otherwise - remain and checking plagiarism in the articles before they're published.\
• Researching to ensure veracity of facts as well as identifying incorrect claims and eliminating them immediately.\
• Publishing of articles in a timely fashion for priority news-based articles.\
• Mentoring and guiding an allocated set of writers to refine and boost their quality, output and overall performance.\
• Ensuring smooth daily operations of writers in the Golf division.\
• Undertaking other key duties as instructed by the Editorial Team Lead.\
• You'll be working on high-profile projects involving extensive research and writing.\
• You'll develop and implement strategies for improving article quality and consistency.\
• You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business results through data-driven insights.\
• You'll utilize your expertise to educate and guide junior writers on best practices and techniques.\
• You'll maintain and improve processes for finding, evaluating, and utilizing relevant sources for stories and features.\
• You'll continuously update and enhance your knowledge of Golf trends, history, and major events to provide accurate and engaging content.\
• You'll use your analytical skills to review, analyze, and optimize content performance across multiple channels.\
• You'll stay up-to-date on the latest industry developments and share your findings with the team to inform future content initiatives.\
• You'll foster a collaborative environment where writers feel supported and motivated to produce their best work.\
• You'll identify opportunities for growth and improvement within the content strategy and make recommendations to the leadership team.\
