Job Title

A Python Test Engineer is required to join our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks using Python/Java and Selenium WebDriver.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Python (mandatory) and working knowledge of Java. Solid experience with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Pytest, or Robot Framework is also essential.

Responsibilities include automating functional, regression, API, and integration test cases, as well as performing REST/SOAP Web API testing using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, or Python requests libraries.

Other key responsibilities include collaborating with development, QA, and DevOps teams to integrate automated testing within the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring testing is aligned with Agile/DevOps principles and shift-left testing strategies, and conducting performance, compatibility, and reliability testing where applicable.

Required Skills:

  • Programming: Strong hands-on experience in Python (mandatory) and working knowledge of Java.
  • Automation: Solid experience with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Pytest, or Robot Framework.
  • Web API Testing: Experience with RESTful/SOAP APIs, using Postman, Rest Assured, or Python libraries.
  • DevOps & CI/CD: Hands-on with Jenkins, GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes, or similar tools.
  • Version Control: Git/GitHub/GitLab experience is essential.
  • Database Testing: Knowledge of SQL queries for data validation.
  • Agile Practices: Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
