As a software engineer, you will work as part of a global team supported by business and architecture partners to help us develop and deliver industry leading technology solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies
  • Perform engineering assignments using existing procedures and best practices
  • Conduct research to aid in product troubleshooting and optimization efforts
  • Work closely with global teams to ensure effective technical solutions
  • Provide escalation point and participate in on-call support rotations
  • Monitor key metrics and report on trends
  • Participate in Engineering Community of Practice
  • Contribute to engineering automation, management or development of production level systems
  • Perform reliability monitoring and support as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Software Architecture preferred; candidates with substantial and relevant industry experience also eligible
  • Six to Eight+ years of engineering experience
  • Ability to learn new emerging technologies, methodologies and solutions in the Cloud/IT technology space
  • Strong knowledge and working experience with programming languages such as Java and Python
  • Knowledge and working experience with application development frameworks like Spring Boot
  • Cloud technologies and services such as AWS Lambda and AWS S3
  • Data integration technologies such as Kafka
  • API based system design
  • Relational and no-sql databases such as Postgres and MongoDB
  • Containers and container orchestration systems like Kubernetes
  • CI/CD principals and tools like Gitlab, Splunk and Datadog
  • Agile methodology and tools like Jira and Confluence
  • Infrastructure provisioning tools like Terraform and workflow orchestration tools like Airflow
