Data Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to design and implement scalable data solutions using the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem.

  • Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI, including DAX expressions, KPIs, and scorecards in Import and Direct Query modes.
  • Create and orchestrate ETL ELT workflows with Fabric Data Pipelines, Dataflows Gen2, and Azure Data Factory for data integration and processing.
  • Develop complex queries, stored procedures, and views in Synapse SQL and SQL Server environments for optimal performance.
  • Implement data models based on star snowflake schemas and support modern data warehousing and Lakehouse architectures using Microsoft Fabric, integrating structured and unstructured data sources such as SQL, Excel, APIs, Blob Storage, and transforming them efficiently using Fabric Notebooks, Spark, PySpark, or Dataflows.
  • Analyze and resolve pipeline failures, logic errors, and performance bottlenecks throughout the data engineering lifecycle.
  • Automate repetitive data processes using Azure Functions, Logic Apps, PowerShell, or Python scripting within the Fabric ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into effective data solutions that meet business needs.
  • Ensure adherence to data governance, privacy, and compliance standards, including sensitive data handling policies such as GDPR, HIPAA, ISO.
