Job Overview
We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our business development efforts, focusing on data engineering and pharma domains. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies and a proven track record of success with US-based clients.

The role involves driving business growth by identifying and converting new opportunities in the US market, particularly in data and pharma domains. This includes nurturing strategic relationships with key US-based clients and decision-makers, creating and implementing Go-to-Market strategies for cloud and data engineering solutions, collaborating with leadership to define revenue goals and drive client-centric strategies, leading proposals, pitches, and deal negotiations with CXO-level stakeholders, ensuring alignment between client needs and solutions offered through collaboration with delivery, marketing, and pre-sales teams, and representing the organization at conferences, industry events, and client-facing forums.

Required Skills & Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with 10+ years of experience in business development, sales, or client engagement in data engineering and/or pharma sectors. They must have a proven experience working with US-based clients, with a strong network and understanding of client needs and buying behavior. Additionally, they should have a solid understanding of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern data platforms, experience in consultative selling, proposal building, and large account management, a strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify business trends and strategic opportunities, exceptional communication and presentation skills, influencing senior stakeholders and building trust, and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).

Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in a similar role within a data-focused consulting or service-based organization would be beneficial. Understanding of compliance and regulatory frameworks in the pharma domain for international travel is also desirable. Willingness to travel internationally for client engagements is essential.
