Process Engineer for Electrolysis Plants

We are seeking an experienced process engineer to lead the development of our electrolysis plants. This is a challenging role that requires strong technical skills and leadership abilities.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the project as process lead for all process related activities and main point of contact for customer / stakeholder / vendor. They will work closely with internal experts of other engineering disciplines such as layout planning, electrical engineering and automation to ensure seamless execution of the project.

  1. Develop specifications for components and systems according to valid codes and standards.
  2. Responsible for design and maintenance of PID diagrams as well as associated data sheets, component and instrumentation lists in COMOS environment.
  3. Development of specifications for the automation of electrolysis plants.
  4. Coordination of process engineering execution and interfaces with customers, subcontractors and internal experts of other engineering disciplines.
  5. Support of HAZOP/LOPA and safety studies in cooperation with customer and safety experts.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in process/ chemical engineering/ mechanical or related engineering areas.
  • Teamwork collaboration capabilities including communication skills.
  • Intercultural sensitivity and willingness to travel.
  • Fluent knowledge of English.
  • Great passion for the area of energy transition and decarbonization.
