Role Summary:

  • We are seeking a Product Management Intern to join our team.
  • This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in product management and contribute to the growth of our company.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ownership:
    • Operate under guidance from senior team members.
    • Own a part of the product under guidance and be involved in minor feature development.
  • Product Sense:
    • Ask the right questions and understand users.
    • Develop user empathy.
    • Understand the product vision/strategy and add to it.
    • Participate in the product process.
    • Write PRDs with support.
  • Data:
    • Perform simple data analysis.
    • Learn and use relevant tools for data analysis.
  • Top 1% Traits:
    • Set goals for features in alignment with the product vision and strategy.
    • Understand user segmentation and apply it in work.
    • Follow complex analysis being done in the POD.
    • Display initiative.
    • Offer help through the entire product process, especially testing.
  • Ways of Working:
    • Adhere to best practices when working with cross-functional teams.
    • Use relevant tools and processes to ensure timely delivery of features.
    • Understand and report KPIs as per standard practice.
  • Execution:
    • Program manage the execution of features from inception to release.
    • Understand and participate in internal and external product/feature marketing.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Effectively communicate risks and blockers to the team (and other stakeholders if required).
    • Work effectively within a small team in the POD.

Requirements:

  • 0-1 year of overall work experience and/or product experience.
  • Fresh out of college or internship graduates.
  • Professionals in other fields who want to transition to product management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Engineering, humanities or design students.
  • Data/tech/design/program management background.
