Job Title: Marine Infrastructure Specialist

Design and construct marine infrastructure, including breakwaters, jetties, quay walls, and docks. Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful execution of marine construction works.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead design, planning, and construction of marine infrastructure, ensuring long-term durability and stability under varying tidal and wave conditions.
  • Provide in-depth expertise in coastal and marine engineering to optimize the performance, stability, and sustainability of port infrastructure.
  • Conduct advanced structural and geotechnical assessments to ensure the stability and safety of marine structures.
  • Work closely with project managers, consultants, contractors, and government bodies to ensure successful execution of marine construction works.
  • Ensure construction processes align with environmental regulations and safety standards to minimize impacts on the coastal ecosystem.
  • Provide on-site guidance, troubleshooting, and decision-making during the construction phase, overseeing teams to ensure quality and timely delivery of marine structures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in marine structure design, construction, and project execution.
  • Post Graduate degree in Marine Structures or equivalent, with a strong academic foundation in coastal and marine engineering principles.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in coastal or marine construction, working on breakwater systems, jetties, seawalls, and other port infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in marine engineering software for designing and simulating coastal and marine structures.
  • Strong knowledge of coastal processes, including hydrodynamics, wave modeling, and sediment transport.
  • Experience with risk management and ability to develop cost-effective and durable solutions for marine infrastructure.
  • Proven leadership in managing multidisciplinary teams and delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget.
