Senior Sourcing Specialist

About the Role

We're seeking a Senior Sourcing Specialist to join our Talent Acquisition team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving a consultative and influential approach to understand business needs and deliver qualified talent accordingly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with global recruiters to develop and execute sourcing strategies
  • Research and identify top talent for niche functions, including product and technology
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the MongoDB tech stack and its requirements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize hiring needs
  • Utilize various sourcing channels, including niche sites, professional and social networking sites, and search engines, to locate both active and passive candidates
  • Build and maintain a diverse talent pipeline for critical business functions
  • Participate in team-wide initiatives and projects

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in sourcing and recruitment, with a focus on in-house recruiting teams
  • Experience in sourcing and hiring for the North America region
  • Advanced experience using LinkedIn Recruiter for sourcing and talent research
  • Strong understanding of technology and a consultative approach
  • Excellent research and sourcing skills, with the ability to search for hard-to-fill requirements
  • Past experience sourcing a diverse talent pool for a wide variety of technical functions via creative and innovative sourcing methodologies
  • Experience working across numerous stakeholders to drive projects to completion
  • Experience with social-media hiring and other sourcing channels, such as GitHub and Stack Overflow
  • Robust interpersonal skills and a strong track record of success
  • Computer Science or a related bachelor's degree
