Job Title: Training and Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Training and Development Manager to lead our team in creating and implementing training programs that enhance employee performance and drive business success.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing and delivering effective training solutions, as well as experience in assessing training needs and evaluating program effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • IDentify and assess future and current training needs through job analysis, career paths, annual performance appraisals and consultation with line managers
  • Develop and implement individualized training and development plans that address specific needs and expectations
  • Conduct effective induction and orientation sessions for new employees
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest training trends, best practices and technologies
  • Schedule training sessions, organize information cascades and other interventions for the team
  • Review and update existing training materials and manuals to ensure relevance and effectiveness

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a training and development role
  • Demonstrated expertise in training needs assessment, program design and delivery
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in-classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations etc)
