Software Quality Assurance Professional

As a Software Quality Assurance (SQA) professional at a leading financial technology firm, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of financial services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and executing test cases to ensure our software systems meet functional and technical requirements across multiple platforms for various financial products.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a strong background in automated quality assurance engineering who can work well in a team-based environment.

  • Test new system software versions using automated testing tools, including functional, user acceptance testing (UAT), performance and regression testing on trading and financial applications.
  • Create, maintain, and update test cases and regression scripts based on business requirements.
  • Report and manage software issues and test activities throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Attend project meetings to discuss issues and report on the status of testing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute automated test plans and scripts using OpenText Unified Functional Testing (UFT).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs.
  • Design, code, and document automated test cases within a defined framework to assure the quality of a functional domain.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in science and/or engineering.
  • 3+ years of general Quality Assurance experience with multi-tiered complex trading and/or risk management systems in the financial industry.
  • 2+ years of experience working with UFT.
