**Quality Assurance Specialist Role Summary**

This is a challenging and rewarding role for an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) specialist to join our team in ensuring the highest quality standards are met throughout all construction projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in QA/QC practices, with excellent organizational and motivational skills.

  • Develop and implement effective QA policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for corrective action.
  • Collaborate with project managers and contractors to review quality plans, inspect construction sites, and resolve any quality-related issues.
  • Monitor and report on quality performance metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Lead and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve quality objectives.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, with 5-10 years of experience in QA/QC in the construction industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and quality control principles.
  • Technical awareness of Civil, MEP, HVAC, and Architectural works.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Certification in Quality Management (e.g., Certified Quality Manager, Lean Six Sigma) is an asset.
