G10X is hiring a Java Backend Developer

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality applications using Springboot.
  • Experience with developing RESTful APIs and modern authorization mechanisms like JSON Web Token and In-memory caching.
  • Familiarity with modern build pipelines and tools like Jenkins and Agile development with Jira and Confluence.
  • A strong understanding of approaches and techniques to optimize API performance.
  • Must have Experience in Azure cloud services like API Management, Key Vault, Azure DevOps & Azure based event driven architecture.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming Concepts, Data Structure and Design Patterns, knowledge of databases like MSSQL and familiarity with code versioning tool such as Git. Strong proficiency in Java, Spring boot, microservices is required. Release estimation, planning and timely integration with other stakeholders is also expected.

We are looking for someone who can estimate release timelines, plan releases, and integrate with various stakeholders on time. A knack for benchmarking and optimization is desired. Good understanding of performance and security is essential.

About the Role:

  • Develop scalable and efficient backend systems using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features and functionality.
  • Work closely with QA engineers to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Participate in code reviews to improve overall code quality and maintainability.
  • Maintain and improve existing backend systems to meet business needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in backend development using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns.
  • Experience with database management systems like MSSQL.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.
