Role Summary: We are seeking a skilled software development engineer to join our QA team.

This is a unique opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive professional to contribute their expertise in manual and automated testing of large-scale enterprise applications, with a specific focus on backend and API validation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in testing, design skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and executing manual and automated tests focused on backend systems and REST endpoints, ensuring thorough validation of all features.
  • Developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Java for RESTful API validation.
  • Testing REST endpoints through automated frameworks; validating request/response accuracy, error handling, and data integrity.
  • Implementing and maintaining reporting frameworks such as Allure for detailed test execution reports.
  • Collaborating closely with developers to resolve defects, share findings, and drive quality improvements.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of hands-on QA experience, including both manual and automation testing.
  • Strong experience with Java for automation scripting.
  • Proven expertise in automating RESTful API testing.
  • Experience testing REST endpoints and developing automated tests for endpoint validation.
  • Exposure to reporting frameworks like Allure.
  • Familiarity with the Cucumber framework for BDD and Maven for build automation.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
  • Knowledge of SDLC methodologies and QA best practices.
  • Ability to work both independently and in collaborative teams.
