Software Engineer (Backend) Position

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in building and delivering a cutting-edge enablement platform for media experiences.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining new features and capabilities of our microservices backend. This will involve planning, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring quality software delivery through automated testing and performance optimization.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Designing, developing, and deploying new features and capabilities
  • Maintaining and improving existing infrastructure, tools, and workflows
  • Ensuring quality software delivery through automated testing and performance optimization

About the Role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field from a reputable university
  • Minimum 8 years of experience as a Software/Backend Engineer in Python
  • Strong understanding of SQL or NoSQL databases, data modeling solutions for scalability and performance
  • Proficiency in cloud technologies, preferably AWS
  • Expertise in microservices architecture, including REST APIs and message queues
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience in CI/CD environments (e.g., GHA, Jenkins)
  • Experience in Infrastructure as Code development (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
