Lead Software Engineering Team

Pure Storage is seeking an experienced leader to manage the development and scalability of automated test infrastructure for all-flash storage solutions.

This role requires a hands-on professional with a passion for improving efficiency, streamlining build-test pipelines, and driving faster development cycles.

  • Manage a team of talented software engineers based in Bangalore, focusing on optimizing build-test pipelines for faster feature delivery.
  • Collaborate with global teams to optimize automation strategies.
  • Work with key stakeholders across multiple locations to drive automation strategies.
  • Address test flakiness, enhance pipeline stability, and improve test determinism.
  • Contribute to design, development, debugging, and making development pipelines robust.
  • Mentor and develop engineers, fostering technical excellence and career growth.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of technical management experience, leading software engineers while remaining involved with software development, test automation, and troubleshooting.
  • 10+ years of software development experience in Python, Golang, or similar languages, with expertise in microservices, REST APIs, pytest, and developer tooling.
  • Proven expertise in managing projects throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Deep understanding of automated test frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and scalable build-test automation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
