Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Condition Monitoring Expert to join our reliability team in a dynamic and challenging role. This position involves real-time monitoring of equipment health data such as vibration, temperature, and electrical parameters for rotating machinery and critical industrial assets.

About the Role

The Condition Monitoring Expert will review alerts, analyze trends, and escalate issues to relationship managers and reliability engineers for timely resolution. This position operates on a 24/7 shift schedule to ensure uninterrupted equipment health surveillance for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and Analyze Equipment Health Data: Review incoming alerts and tickets, classify them based on severity, and ensure timely response.
  • Review Alerts and Escalate Issues: Validate and investigate anomalies, reducing false positives and ensuring accurate escalations.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate records of monitoring activities, alerts, and escalation actions.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures: Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for consistent and efficient monitoring practices.
  • Provide Shift Handovers: Provide detailed shift handovers to maintain continuity of operations across teams.
  • Collaborate with Engineering Teams: Collaborate with engineering teams to continuously improve monitoring and reporting processes.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Strong Foundational Understanding: Strong foundational understanding of rotating machinery and industrial equipment.
  • Familiarity with Condition Monitoring Data Types: Familiarity with condition monitoring data types like vibration analysis, temperature trends, and current signatures.
  • Excellent Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify abnormal patterns in data.
  • Effective Communication Skills: Effective communication skills for clear reporting and escalation.
  • Willingness to Work in Shifts: Willingness to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

Preferred Skills

  • Hands-on Experience: Hands-on experience with condition monitoring systems and tools.
  • Predictive Maintenance Techniques: Knowledge of predictive maintenance techniques such as Vibration Analysis.
  • Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
