Storage Lead Role

Enterprise Storage Infrastructure Management Expertise is required to lead daily operations of storage platforms, ensuring uptime, reliability, and capacity planning. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of storage architecture, security, operations, and vendor management.

The role involves overseeing data migrations, integrations, and lifecycle policies in cloud-based environments. Ensuring consistency, availability, and compliance across multi-cloud and on-prem deployments is also crucial.

  • Lead complex projects such as migrations, upgrades, and new implementations.
  • Develop and manage annual storage budgets, track expenditures, and drive cost optimization.
  • Report on KPIs, risks, and project milestones to IT stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities include designing and implementing scalable, resilient storage solutions (SAN, NAS, object, and cloud storage), evaluating new technologies to align storage infrastructure with current and future business needs, and collaborating with infrastructure, application, and cybersecurity teams for integrated solutions.

Implementation and maintenance of enterprise-wide backup, archiving, and retention strategies are also critical aspects of the role.

Security is paramount, including implementing storage-level security: encryption, access control, audit logging, and anomaly detection. Compliance with GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, HIPAA, SOX, GDPR, and data integrity standards is also essential.

A strong leader with excellent communication skills is required to manage the storage team effectively.
