Senior Storage Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to manage day-to-day administration for SAN and storage environments.
Main Responsibilities:- Manage and maintain systems level maintenance for storage infrastructure, track existing storage usage trending and capacity planning for future growth, and maintain storage documentation, procedures, and reporting.
- Provide Storage Area Network Configuration and Administration, perform storage allocations to server infrastructure, manage infrastructure events, and monitor storage subsystem and SAN switch capacity.
- Investigate and diagnose raised problem(s) or problem records for root cause analysis, perform necessary storage infrastructure maintenance, and interface with assigned Hitachi storage engineers to manage implementation of additional storage infrastructure and services.
- Mentor and train junior admins, oversee design, installation, configuration, and de-provision of storage solutions, and perform performance management for SAN and storage, including capacity tuning and remediation recommendations.
- 8+ years of experience handling majority of activities mentioned in the scope above.
- Experience handling Hitachi storages and Brocade switches infrastructure.
- Exposure to Operations and Management activities on Hitachi Storage(s), Unified compute platforms, various Host O/S including basic cluster management.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Hitachi Technical certification is desirable.
