Security Manager Job Description

We are seeking an accomplished Security Manager to spearhead our vulnerability management, security operations, and cloud security initiatives. As a seasoned professional in the field of cybersecurity, you will be responsible for executing end-to-end vulnerability management, securing infrastructure, and managing cloud security posture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct and oversee Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities across systems and applications.
  • Implement and manage system security tools to monitor, detect, and respond to security threats in real-time.
  • Lead cloud security efforts, including the implementation and operations of Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) to ensure compliance and secure cloud environments.
  • Oversee application security practices, including secure coding standards and regular security assessments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into all aspects of IT and business operations.
  • Assist and contribute to the Security Operations Center to ensure timely detection, analysis, and response to security incidents.
  • Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies, and apply this knowledge to strengthen the organization's security posture.
  • Participate in project work related to Information and Cyber Security Risk.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in vulnerability management and security operations.
  • Proven expertise in cyber forensics and incident response.
  • In-depth understanding of cybersecurity risks, threats, and advanced persistent threats (APTs).
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills for identifying and mitigating security threats.
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure and application security.
  • Preferred Certifications: CISSP, CCSP, or other leading security certifications.
  • Cloud Certifications: Azure Security Engineer, Microsoft Cybersecurity, or AWS Certified Security are highly advantageous.
  • Experience with information security technologies, especially in VM tools, Cloud Security tools, log management and configuring syslog.
  • Knowledge in API security, digital asset protection, cloud computing technologies, and cloud security is a plus.
