Job Overview: The successful System Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of our IT infrastructure, including Active Directory, Windows servers, and network servers. This role requires a highly skilled professional who can ensure the security, performance, and reliability of our systems.

  • Implementing and maintaining Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) to manage user accounts, groups, and organizational units in accordance with established security policies.
  • Developing, updating, and managing Group Policy Objects (GPOs) across complex multiple domain environments to maintain consistency and efficiency.
  • Overseeing system performance and troubleshooting issues, creating backups and safeguarding data to minimize downtime and data loss.
  • Monitoring and maintaining network servers such as file servers and troubleshooting active directory, GPO, AD federated services and password/identity management systems.

Key Qualifications: Must possess proven experience working with large enterprise distributed computing environments, including directory services infrastructure architect/design/support.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers, including domain controller promotion, metadata cleanup, DNS, DHCP.
  • Monitor and optimize server performance to meet organizational standards and requirements.
  • Ensure high availability and disaster recovery by implementing appropriate backup and restore procedures.
