Job Title:
Lead Financial Analyst

The Senior Accountant plays a key role in providing organized and detail-oriented professional services for full-cycle accounting support within the Finance division of our organization.

  • Support financial operations by maintaining accurate General Ledger postings, fixed assets/depreciation, cost-center allocations, prepaid expenses, and accrued liabilities.
  • Reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Process corporate AR transactions, including invoicing and payment applications.
  • Produce daily, weekly, and monthly GL, AR, and Cash reporting.
  • Assist in the monthly close process and financial statement preparation.
  • Assist with budgeting, financial statement, loan covenant, and variance analysis.
  • Maintain the integrity of the GL accounting system, specifically the chart of accounts and subaccount list.
  • Correspond with banks and other agencies for issue resolution and responses to inquiries in a professional manner.
  • Prepare and respond to audit requests.
  • Update and maintain policies & procedure documentation.
  • Meet contractual commitments to clients through timely and accurate reporting and issue resolution.

Key Qualifications:

  • Hold a degree in Accounting or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Possess 5 years' experience in accounting, at both transactional and analytical levels.
  • Have experience working with multi-company/divisional financials and job costing.
  • Auditing experience and compliance knowledge are preferred.
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational and time management skills, with strict attention to detail.
  • Showcase strong computer skills: Excel, Word, and E-mail. Sage Intacct and Prism HRP experience is a plus.
  • Exhibit high standards of integrity and sound business ethics.
  • Show ability to work effectively with internal and external departments.
  • Display strong English language skills, both written and spoken.
  • Exhibit an understanding of accrual accounting.
  • Show intermediate-level Microsoft Excel skills, preferably using pivot tables.
  • Show ability to coach and develop accounting teams and interact with customers.
  • Be able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational and time management skills, with strict attention to detail.
