Main Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership & Strategy
    • Mobilize technical strategies that align with business objectives.
    • Foster adherence to international quality and industry standards.
  • Quality Control & Assurance
    • Supervise quality systems across manufacturing units to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
    • Evaluate testing protocols for steel pipes, coatings, welding, and NDT.
    • Promote traceability and integrity of inspection, testing, and certification processes.
  • New Product Development & Innovation
    • Drive innovation in materials, processes, and product designs.
    • Coordinate R&D efforts for new products catering to Oil & Gas industry applications.
    • Develop hydrogen-compatible products by collaborating with H₂ labs.
  • Metallurgical Expertise
    • Apply advanced metallurgical knowledge to troubleshoot, optimize, and select materials.
    • Analyse and resolve technical issues related to steel properties, fabrication, and performance.
  • Client & Vendor Management
    • Act as the primary technical contact for key clients, ensuring timely resolution of technical queries and issues.
    • Collaborate with vendors for quality assurance, technical compliance, and process enhancements.
    • Provide technical inputs for tenders, proposals, and customer specifications.
  • Compliance & Standards
    • Ensure statutory, industry, and customer-specific requirements are met.
    • Stay abreast of emerging standards, technologies, and best practices in Oil & Gas and hydrogen energy sectors.
