As a pivotal team member, you will assist the Manager in executing meetings and events to drive brand service strategy and initiatives.

Your primary goal is to meet customer needs at meetings and events, while growing event revenues and ensuring seamless execution.

You will be responsible for handling any issues or conflicts that may arise during meetings or events, maintaining high standards of client satisfaction and quality.

To achieve this, you will conduct daily walk-throughs of banquet floors, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

A high school diploma or equivalent; 2 years of experience in event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing, or related fields.

OR

A 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 1 year of experience in event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing, or related fields.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Assisting in Managing Meetings and Special Events Operations

Researches and analyzes new products, pricing, and services of competition to stay ahead in the market.

Reviews scheduled events and troubleshoots potential challenges/conflicts to ensure smooth execution.

Coordinates all groups impacting property operations to maintain optimal performance.

Oversees cleaning and maintenance of meeting spaces and corresponding back-of-the-house areas to maintain high standards.

Ensures furniture and equipment are properly maintained and inventory levels are aligned with corporate guidelines.

Executes brand service initiatives in event management areas to enhance the guest experience.

Conducts daily walk-throughs of banquet floors to drive client satisfaction and maintain quality standards.

Assists in Budgets and Finances

Develops relationships with outside vendors to negotiate prices and service agreements that enhance the event experience and increase additional revenue opportunities.

Assists in creating annual banquet budgets to optimize financial performance.

Driving Exceptional Customer Service

Creates an atmosphere in event management operations areas that meets or exceeds guest expectations.

Consults with customers to determine objectives and requirements for events such as meetings, conferences, and conventions.
