Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Purchase and Logistics Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for managing the entire purchasing process, from initiation to delivery. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with suppliers.

About the Role

  2. Initiate contact with vendors to verify product availability and lead times.\
  3. Coordinate shipping, resolving any issues that may arise during transit.\
  4. Monitor logistics requisitions and adjust as needed with vendors.\
  5. Maintain accurate records of logistics activities.\
  6. Liaise with the accounting department to reconcile vendor invoices and purchase orders.\
  7. Review and manage purchase orders, ensuring timely receipt of goods.\
  8. Resolve supplier invoice discrepancies in a timely manner.\
  9. Handle damaged, missing, or incorrect items.\
  10. Oversight of warranty claims.\
  11. Cultivate professional relationships with suppliers to facilitate efficient order processing.\
  12. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless logistics operations.\
  13. Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency.\
  14. Analyze data to inform strategic purchasing decisions.\
  15. Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers.\
  16. Conduct market research to identify opportunities for cost savings.\
  17. Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on logistics strategies.\
  18. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.\
