Job Overview:

The role of Food and Beverage Manager is a critical component of our hotel's operational success.

  • This position entails the management of food and beverage operations with the primary goal of delivering exceptional service quality and adhering to industry standards.
  • In this capacity, you will be responsible for creating a unique guest experience while ensuring compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the annual departmental operating budget and financial plans in conjunction with the catering office to identify opportunities for revenue enhancement.
  • Closely monitor budget and control expenses focusing on food, beverage, and labor costs.
  • Prioritize the efficient use of resources to minimize waste and maximize profitability.

Team Management:

  • Oversee day-to-day staffing requirements, plan and assign work tasks, and establish performance goals for team members.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and regular feedback to promote employee development and conflict resolution.
  • Liaise with Human Resources on manpower planning and talent acquisition to ensure the right personnel are in place.

Guest Experience:

  • Maintain all food and beverage equipment in proper working condition and perform routine cleaning tasks.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, complaints, and requests to achieve high levels of satisfaction.

Sustainability:

  • Develop and implement effective local marketing programs for food and beverage offerings.
  • Monitor competitors and industry trends to stay informed about market developments.
  • Review and approve menu designs and concepts in collaboration with the Executive Chef.

Accountability:

  • Supervise a large number of team members across various food and beverage outlets, kitchens, and banquet facilities.
  • Oversight may extend to subordinate managers or supervisors, requiring strong leadership skills.
