Leading a Financial Operations Team is critical for driving business success through accurate and timely financial reporting, adherence to regulatory and corporate policies, and fostering a culture of discipline and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting & Book Closure
    • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual book closures ensuring timely submission of financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
    • Analyze and interpret financial data from general ledgers and sub-ledgers to inform business decisions.
  • Audit Management
    • Coordinate with external and internal auditors to conduct statutory and internal audits ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Develop and implement corrective actions arising from audit findings to drive process improvements.
  • Compliance & Regulatory Frameworks
    • Ensure company-wide compliance with local laws including Companies Act, GST, Income Tax, TDS, and other relevant regulations.
    • Prepare and file necessary financial documents, returns, and reports with regulatory bodies on time.
  • Process Optimization & Automation
    • Develop and implement internal controls to enhance financial closure processes and ensure efficient use of resources.
    • Identify gaps in existing processes and design automation and efficiency improvements to streamline operations.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting Support
    • Collaborate with the CFO to prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and financial planning.
    • Analyze variances and provide insights for cost control and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Team Leadership & Development
    • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team across various functions.
    • Foster a collaborative work environment promoting continuous learning and growth opportunities.
