Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Finance Leader to join our team and drive financial strategy for a leading organization. This role requires expertise in financial planning, compliance, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.

About the Role

This is a senior-level position that involves leading financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting for client portfolios. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of UK accounting practices, GAAP/IFRS compliance, and taxation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Financial Strategy Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans that align with business goals.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure full compliance with UK regulatory frameworks, overseeing audits, statutory filings, tax planning, and reporting accuracy.
  • Business Partnering & Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior stakeholders, investors, and external auditors, acting as a trusted advisor and presenting financial performance updates.
  • Operational Finance Oversight: Manage accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and working capital effectively, leading monthly/quarterly closing processes and consolidation reporting.
  • Technology & Automation: Drive adoption of finance technology tools (e.g., Xero, Dext, Power BI), implementing automation initiatives to streamline financial reporting and compliance.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Mentor and lead a distributed finance team across India and the UK, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous learning.

Key Requirements:

  • Mandatory: CA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent qualification.
  • 7–10 years of experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of UK accounting practices, GAAP/IFRS compliance, and taxation.
  • Proven experience in Fintech, Financial Services, or Consulting preferred.
  • Hands-on expertise with Xero, Dext, Power BI, or similar financial tools.
  • Strong financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
