Role: Data Scientist

The DS/AI Competency Center focuses on leveraging data, analytics, and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to extract insights, build predictive models, and develop AI powered solutions. It utilizes Exploratory Data Analysis, Statistical Modeling, and Machine Learning, Model Deployment, and Integration as well as Model Monitoring and Maintenance.

  • Mandatory Requirements:
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience, including 2+ of DS/Operations Research experience.
  • Experience in optimization methodologies, including use of various optimization libraries.
  • Strong Python coding skills, including using ML libraries and basic working knowledge of SQL.
  • Experience working in cloud technologies, preferred MS Azure, GCP nice-to-have.
  • Familiarity with theory behind various machine learning concepts.
  • Experience in CRISP-DM projects delivery and with Agile project.
  • Experience with business requirements gathering, transforming them into technical plan, data processing, feature engineering, models evaluation, hypothesis testing, and model deployment.
  • Experience in working with client-facing role.
  • Able to apply independent research, gather information, and give recommendation how to solve problems of diverse scope.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Nice to Have:
  • Other programming languages knowledge e.g., SQL, R.
  • Experience working in Spark (PySpark).
  • Experience in working in other IT roles is welcomed.
  • Understanding and experience in applying Data Science/Machine Learning methods to Supply Chain is a plus.
  • Strong statistical/mathematical background.
  • Experience in working in matrix organization.
