Performance Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled performance engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of high-performance software applications.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, developing, and implementing performance/scalability benchmarks, as well as experience working in cross-functional teams to characterize, debug, and improve system performance and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and apply performance/scalability benchmarks.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance and scalability.
  • Use profiling tools to identify performance bottlenecks and conduct root cause analysis.
  • Design and execute experiments to evaluate the performance impacts of system changes.
  • Plan and execute performance tests using automated environments, analyze results.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of hands-on software testing experience.
  • Strong experience in performance testing of SAP applications.
  • Proficiency in programming languages (Python, Perl, ABAP, Java, C++).
  • Experience with performance testing tools (LoadRunner, JMeter, SoapUI, Postman).
  • Knowledge of service-oriented architecture, RESTful APIs, and performance-tuning SQL queries.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with JVM tuning techniques.
  • Experience with performance monitoring tools (Dynatrace, AppDynamics).
  • Ability to efficiently use profiling tools to identify bottlenecks.
