Program Manager Role

About the Job:

As a Program Manager, you will oversee multiple projects and lead teams that are dedicated to creating meaningful impact in communities. Your role will be pivotal in shaping the direction of our programs and ensuring their successful execution.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement diverse projects with specialized teams, focusing on project design, implementation, and monitoring.
  • Ensure timely achievement of project targets and milestones, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence within the team.
  • Prepare and submit comprehensive activity reports to stakeholders, highlighting key accomplishments and areas for improvement.
  • Nurture and maintain strategic partnerships for collaborative success, leveraging relationships to drive program growth and impact.
  • Travel within and outside Mumbai for project implementation, embracing opportunities for cross-cultural exchange and professional development.
  • Foster a volunteer-mentor base and coordinate with volunteers involved in projects, cultivating a sense of community and shared purpose.
  • Demonstrate resourcefulness in project management, troubleshooting problems, and identifying creative solutions to drive program success.

Requirements:

  • A Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field, such as Non-Profit Management, Business Administration, or Public Policy.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in non-profit program management, with a proven track record of successfully leading teams and driving project outcomes.
  • Fluency in English, Hindi, and/or Marathi, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A positive, community-focused mindset, with empathy and understanding for diverse perspectives and needs.
