Genetec Support Specialist
Job Description:We are seeking a skilled professional to provide second-level support for Genetec Security Center and OnGuard access control systems, troubleshooting issues, and implementing system enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:- Technical Support: Provide remote technical support and troubleshooting for Genetec Security Center and OnGuard access control systems.
- System Analysis and Troubleshooting: Analyze, debug, and resolve system incidents, alarms, and operational issues.
- Collaboration with Stakeholders: Coordinate with onsite teams, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely problem resolution.
- Software Enhancements: Assist in the design, development, testing, and deployment of software enhancements and custom integrations to improve system functionality.
- Implementation and Training: Implement software upgrades and patches in accordance with company processes, and deliver training and knowledge transfer sessions to junior staff or end-users when required.
- Integration and Optimization: Collaborate with security teams to optimize access control policies, permissions, and workflows within OnGuard/Genetec systems, and support integration with third-party security systems (CCTV cameras, Alarm systems, etc.) and IT infrastructure.

This role requires a strong understanding of physical security systems, integration capabilities, and excellent analytical skills to improve system performance and support operational security needs.
