Role Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Freelance Engineer with expertise in authorization platforms, data governance, and fine-grained access control . The role involves designing and implementing policies that safeguard sensitive business and customer data across multiple platforms, including CRM systems, data lakes, reporting tools, APIs, and enterprise applications .

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and configure authorization policies to enforce fine-grained data access controls.
  • Integrate access control solutions with CRM platforms, cloud data warehouses, APIs, reporting tools, and AI/ML models .
  • Support the rollout of region- and country-specific access rules , ensuring compliance with data protection requirements.
  • Collaborate with data, engineering, and business stakeholders to refine access policies and ensure alignment with governance standards.
  • Ensure data access governance supports privacy, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Work in Agile delivery environments using tools such as JIRA (Cloud for execution, Align for planning) .
  • Contribute to upcoming integration initiatives across supply chain, commerce, and customer-facing applications .

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience with authorization platforms (e.g., PlainID or other policy-based access control solutions).
  • Strong background in data governance, access management, and compliance frameworks .
  • Hands-on experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake) .
  • Understanding of enterprise integrations (APIs, applications, notification systems, and reporting pipelines).
  • Experience working in Agile teams with JIRA Cloud and Align for project tracking and planning.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments .

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience implementing regional or country-specific data access policies in global enterprises.
  • Exposure to commerce or supply chain data governance .
  • Familiarity with security and authorization models such as RBAC, ABAC, and Zero Trust .
