Job Title: Technical Visionary

As a Senior Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping the company's technical direction and leading high-performing engineering teams. You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant services that align with business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of large-scale distributed systems, including hands-on operational experience.
  • Drive engineering best practices for high-functioning software engineering teams through effective use of tools and automation.
  • Design and implement modern world-class services that are scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant.
  • Collaborate with product management to envision future features and plan product roadmaps.
  • Define solution architectures that align with business needs in collaboration with product management and engineering.
  • Have a clear vision for the product/project and develop a long-term strategy to achieve goals.

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of technical engineering leadership experience.
  • 5-10+ years of experience in large-scale distributed system development.
  • Experience driving engineering best practices for high-functioning software engineering teams.
  • Passion and expertise for building large-scale, back-end services and APIs using modern architectures.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of data structures, asynchronous architectures, and distributed algorithms.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles and modern infrastructure operations.
  • Ability to build robust, high-scale, generic, and reusable solutions.
  • Experience mentoring and training an engineering community on development best practices.
  • Familiarity with deployment and observability strategies that support continuous delivery and high availability in a cloud-native environment.

Desired Skills:

  • Cloud platforms: AWS preferred (EC2, S3, Lambda, EFS, ECS, EKS, API Gateway, SQS, IAM, VPC).
  • CI/CD tools: Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, YAML, PowerShell.
  • GenAI technologies: LLM fine-tuning, RAG architecture implementation, prompt engineering.
  • Relational and NoSQL databases: MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, DocumentDB, OpenSearch/ElasticSearch.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and observability tools: Splunk, ELK Stack, DataDog.
  • Strong understanding in technology and test strategy, Automated software testing: Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Cucumber, Specflow, Artillery.
  • Understanding of testing strategies: Unit Testing, Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), Test-Driven Development (TDD).
  • AWS/Azure Developer and architect certification is a plus.
