Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Accounting and Taxation Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing financial operations, statutory compliance, regulatory filings, and company formation processes. Your key responsibilities will include handling GST, income tax, TDS provisions, financial statement preparation, company incorporations, licensing applications, and post-incorporation compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle GST, income tax, TDS provisions, financial statement preparation, company incorporations, licensing applications, and post-incorporation compliance.
  • Assist in the preparation and filing of income tax returns while ensuring adherence to tax laws and regulations.
  • Monitor and manage TDS compliance, including deduction, payment, and filing of TDS returns.
  • Ensure GST compliance, including timely filing of returns, reconciliation, and resolving GST-related queries.
  • Maintain proper documentation and records related to statutory filings, compliance, company incorporation, and financial transactions.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and client experience in finance operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field (B.Com, BBA, B.Com LLB, BBA LLB preferred).
  • 0-1 years of relevant experience in finance operations, statutory filings, legal compliance, or company formation.
  • Strong knowledge of the Companies Act, income tax provisions, TDS regulations, GST laws, and business incorporation procedures.
  • Familiarity with accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with acute attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel and MS Word.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, client-driven environment.
  • A commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and delivering high-quality service.
